Amman, May 17 (Petra) – The 34th Arab Summit is scheduled to kick off in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, on Saturday, with the participation of a number of Arab leaders and their representatives.
Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan, who is deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah II, is participating in the 34th Arab Summit and the 5th Arab Economic and Social Development Summit, held in Baghdad.
Delegation of Bahrain, chair of the previous summit, is set to deliver its speech before handing over the presidency to Iraq.
Additionally, “Baghdad Declaration” will be announced to address outcomes of the two summits.
