Amman, May 31 (QNA) – Jordan’s overall unemployment rate fell to 16.1 percent in the first quarter of 2026, according to a quarterly report released on Sunday by the Jordanian Department of Statistics.
The report showed that the unemployment rate declined by 0.5 percentage point compared with the first quarter of 2025.
It also marked a decrease of 2.3 percentage points over the past four years compared with the first quarter of 2022. (QNA)
