Manama, June 12 (QNA) – King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a phone call from President of the European Council Antonio Costa.
During the call, Bahrain’s King affirmed the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination between Bahrain, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the European Union, in a manner that supports security and stability in the region and the world.
Costa noted that diplomacy and dialogue remain the best path to achieving security and stability, stressing the importance of continuing efforts to support diplomatic solutions and safeguard security and freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz in a manner that enhances regional and international security and stability.
