KSrelief Signs Cooperation Program with UNFPA

New York, September 22, 2023, SPA — Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah signed yesterday a program with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) to enhance cooperation in several fields, on the sidelines of the 78th UN General Assembly session in New York.
The Executive Director of UNFPA, Dr. Natalia Kanem, signed the agreement, under which cooperation will start between the KSrelief and UNFPA in the humanitarian fields, and an exchange of knowledge, experiences, field expertise, research, studies, reports, and statistics on topics of common interest, as well as training and capacity building in the field of humanitarian work.
Also, both sides will exchange invitations to participate in seminars, workshops, exhibitions, and exchange visits.
There will be media cooperation between the two sides to cover the KSrelief projects carried out in partnership with the fund through the international forums in which the fund participates and the assistance of experts in common fields, in addition to cooperation in the areas of maternal and child health and the provision of reproductive health services in communities in need.
This agreement comes within the KSrelief’s keenness to enhance cooperation with international and regional humanitarian organizations to develop humanitarian work mechanisms in various sectors.
