Tripoli, June 02 (QNA) – Prime Minister of Libya’s Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, held talks on Monday with a delegation representing several investment and energy companies from Oman on opportunities for cooperation in the oil, gas and renewable energy sectors, as well as the potential development of joint projects aimed at facilitating knowledge transfer and expanding economic partnership between the two countries.
The meeting underscored the importance of strengthening economic and investment ties and capitalizing on opportunities in the energy sector and related industries in a manner that serves mutual interests and supports development efforts.
The talks also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Libyan Investment Authority and OQ Group to explore investment and cooperation opportunities in the Libyan market. The agreement is intended to support efforts to diversify the national economy and attract high-quality investments, particularly in clean energy and strategic value-added projects. (QNA)
