Minister Bensaid Elected Best Arab Government Figure for Social Communication in Youth Sector

The prize, presented to Morocco’s Ambassador to Egypt Mohamed Ait Ouali on behalf of the Minister, was awarded to Bensaid by a jury of personalities operating in the field of social communication in the MENA region.

On this occasion, the Director of the Social Governments Institute, Ahmed Sabri, said that more than 30 entities and 50 government personalities were in the running for the Awards this year, noting that competition was intense in the health, information and communication technology and finance sectors.

The Social Government Awards are a key indicator of innovation and excellence in government digital solutions. Candidates compete in categories such as government digital content, social networking platforms and applications, and government personalities who have distinguished themselves in this field.

The Institute, based in Abu Dhabi and Cairo, supports Arab governmental efforts in the field of government communication and publishes reports on the activities of government officials on social networks on a regular basis.

The Social Government Awards is an initiative aimed at highlighting best practices in government communication via social networks in the Arab world. It is based on the appreciation of government entities that have succeeded in developing their communication with a high level of responsiveness, sharing and transparency on social networks.

The Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, has been elected best government figure in the Arab world for social government communication in the youth sector, by the Cairo Social Governments Institute.
