Amman, June 25 (Petra) – Ministry of Water and Irrigation, in
cooperation with the judiciary system, has uncovered “significant”
violations involving 3 water pipelines.
These enchroachments infringe upon the citizens’ rights by illegally
connecting homes to supply water to 100 houses in the Zarqa
governorate that are uncovered by the water service.
According to a ministry statement issued Thursday, documentation into
the incident has completed to assess the stolen water quantities,
determine fines for the violators, and ensure proper legal action in
this case.
The ministry also urged the public to report any violations to ensure
the water sector’s continued operation and access to services.
