During the meeting, the two parties reviewed ways of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of agriculture, irrigation and food security.

On this occasion, the Bissau-Guinean Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development stressed the importance of this meeting in giving new impetus to bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture.

Djau Baldé praised Moroccan agricultural projects and plans, as well as the expertise developed in Morocco in this field, expressing her country’s willingness to benefit from Morocco’s rich experience in this area.

For his part, Sadiki praised the excellent relations between the two countries, saying that this meeting was an opportunity to put in place new measures to deepen these ties in favor of consolidating the agricultural sector in both countries.

“We have also considered drawing up a new roadmap capable of giving visibility to the future of the agricultural sector, and aimed primarily at ensuring the transfer of good agricultural practices for the benefit of this country”, he said.
