Morocco’s Ismael Saibari Extends Contract with PSV Eindhoven Until 2028

“Ismael Saibari has signed a new five-year contract that will keep him at PSV until the summer of 2028. The attacking midfielder was promoted to the senior team last season and quickly established himself as a regular in the first team,” stated the Dutch club on its website.

PSV emphasized that Saibari “has made significant progress and has become a versatile player capable of performing in various positions.” They noted that the Moroccan player was promoted to the first team during the 2022-2023 season and initially played as a winger before transitioning to an attacking midfielder under the guidance of coach Peter Bosz.

Saibari expressed his enthusiasm for the trust the club has shown in him, saying, “I’ve gained a wealth of experience in recent years, which has shaped me into the player I am today. I’m eager to contribute to achieving the goals of this outstanding club.”

PSV also highlighted that Saibari’s outstanding performances have not gone unnoticed. The 22-year-old has received a call-up to Morocco’s U23 squad, with whom he was crowned Africa’s U23 champions.

The Terrassa native was selected for Morocco’s national A-team and made his debut in an international friendly against Burkina Faso on September 12, 2023.

PSV Eindhoven extended the contract of Moroccan international Ismael Saibari until 2028, the club announced on Tuesday.
