its base of participants, and creating new pathways that support Omani women’s
investment presence and contribute to developing their knowledge and

Haitham
Salim Al Salmi, CEO of Muscat Stock Exchange, said that the launch of the Omani
Women’s Investor Club represents a new strategic step in Muscat Stock

sustainable economic growth.
He

system connecting knowledge with opportunities, enhancing confidence and active
participation, and opening new pathways for Omani women to contribute to making
investment decisions and developing wealth. He expressed his hope that the club
will constitute a sustainable institutional model for partnership and
cooperation, translating women’s capabilities and ambitions into added value
and tangible impact on the future of the Omani capital market, in line with the

For
her part, Arij Mohsin Haider Darwish, Chairperson of the Omani Women’s Investor
Club stated that empowering women in investment begins with knowledge and
transforms into real impact when opportunities become available, noting that
the “Omani Women’s Investor Club” represents an ambitious vision to
build an influential network of female leaders and investors.
She
added that the club is expected to serve as an effective platform that goes
beyond knowledge exchange to creating opportunities, building strategic
partnerships, enhancing financial and investment literacy, expanding women’s
access to markets, and supporting the growth of women-led investments.
The
Club stems from a vision based on building a network of influential female
investment leaders who work together to enhance opportunities, inspire change,
and unlock latent economic potential. Meanwhile, its mission centers on
empowering female investors in the Sultanate of Oman and abroad through
strengthening cooperation, exchanging knowledge and expertise, and supporting
the growth and sustainability of women-led investments.
The
club seeks to achieve a set of strategic goals, foremost among which are
raising levels of financial and investment literacy, enhancing women’s
confidence in making their investment decisions, and expanding the scope of
their participation in capital markets, alongside supporting their
representation in leadership positions and investment decision-making roles,
building strategic partnerships that open new horizons for cooperation and
opportunities, and encouraging long-term wealth creation and development.
The
launch of the club coincides with Omani Women’s Day, reaffirming the advanced
status that women have come to occupy in the national economic landscape, and
underscoring the importance of transitioning from enhancing investment
awareness to expanding actual participation in it, while affording women
opportunities to contribute more significantly to market growth and
