Moscow, Oct. 19 (Petra) — Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander
Novak announced on Monday that Russian diesel shipments will reach
the United States next month as part of understandings regarding the
resumption of supplies to the U.S. market.
During a press conference, Novak stated that the U.S. Department of
Energy has identified counterparty entities to deal with Russian
suppliers, adding that a temporary U.S. license covers transportation
and insurance through next April. He indicated that Russia could
increase monthly supply volumes from approximately 500,000 tons to
3.5 million tons, provided refineries remain operational and required
quantities are available.
