Oil Prices Rise About 1 Percent at Settlement

New York, June 02 (QNA) – Oil prices rose by about 1 percent at settlement on Tuesday, reaching their highest levels in a week amid volatile trading as markets monitored developments in the Middle East.

Brent crude futures gained $1.02, or 1.1 percent, to settle at $96 a barrel.

US West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose $1.60, or 1.7 percent, to settle at $93.76 a barrel. (QNA)
