Film Society Participates in IFFA Festival in Australia
Canberra, 7 Dec 2025 (ONA) — Oman Film Society participated in the International Film Festival of Australia (IFFA) . The aim is to deepen cinematic cooperation
ties with international festivals, particularly IFFA, and to open new horizons
for Omani films to participate on global platforms and in cinematic forums with
wide influence.
Through its presence at this festival, Oman Film Society sought to open
channels for future cooperation in the field of co-production, in addition to
exploring opportunities for training, development, and the exchange of
experiences between Omani filmmakers and their counterparts from various world
countries.
The
participation also aimed to enhance the Omani presence in the global cinematic
scene and enable filmmakers to access new experiences that enrich their work
and contribute to developing the industry locally.
This participation represents an important step in supporting Omani talents and
enabling them to access international markets and festivals, which will
positively reflect on the film industry in the Sultanate of Oman.
