Oman Participates in 49th Annual
Meeting of G77, China Foreign Ministers in New York
New York, 24 Sep (ONA) — The Sultanate of Oman today
took part in the 49th Annual Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Group of 77
and China. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Republic of Iraq,
as part of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The Sultanate of Oman’s delegation was headed by Foreign
Minister Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi.
The meeting discussed key global developments, most
notably climate change, reform of international governance and international
finance.
The meeting also stressed the need to boost solidarity and coordination among member states and support the group’s common stands
at international forums.
