Muscat, March 30 (QNA) – Oman expressed its utmost indignation over the attack on a camp and a facility for power generation and water desalination in Kuwait.
Oman stands in full solidarity and side by side with Kuwait in all measures it enforces to protect its security, territorial sovereignty, and national resources and capabilities, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Monday.
The statement suggested that all parties should immediately and completely cease the war and escalation that targets civilian facilities and critical infrastructure.
It confirmed that these escalatory actions amount to an unequivocal breach of international law and international humanitarian law, stressing that it is vitally important to urge cooler heads to prevail so as to ensure the security and stability of the region. (QNA)
