Consultations Session
Muscat, 24 Sep (ONA) —
The Sultanate of Oman and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam today held the
fourth round of consultations in Muscat.
The Omani side was headed
by Sheikh Khalifa Al Harthy, Foreign Ministry’s Undersecretary for Political
Affairs, while the Vietnamese side was led by Nguyen Minh Hang, Deputy Minister
of Foreign Affairs.
The session reviewed
bilateral relations in various fields, including economic, investment, and
cultural cooperation.
The two sides also exchanged
views on a range of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The session was attended
by Ambassador Sheikh Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Hosni, Head of the Asia and Pacific Department,
Hoang Huu Anh, Ambassador-designate of Vietnam to Oman, as well as a number of
officials from both sides.
