Amman, June 14 (Petra) – Orange Jordan and MetLife, the U.S.-based
life insurance company, launched a new partnership to offer
innovative digital insurance services to provide access to tailored
insurance solutions.
According to a statement issued by Orange Jordan on Sunday, the new
service enables users to subscribe to customised insurance packages,
including life and personal accident coverage and pay premiums easily
and securely through the Orange Money application.
The statement said the service delivers an instant and fully digital
experience, eliminating the need for cash transactions. Customers can
select either Silver or Gold insurance packages directly through the
app and manage their payment preferences with full transparency
through instant notifications.
The service offers flexibility in choosing payment methods and
schedules, enhancing the customer experience and providing reliable
insurance coverage that can be accessed anywhere in the world.
Orange Jordan said the partnership reflects the two companies’
commitment to developing innovative and secure digital solutions that
support the growth of Jordan’s financial and insurance sectors.
The initiative aligns with efforts to advance digital transformation
and expand access to financial services among broader segments of
society.
For its part, MetLife expressed pride in partnering with Orange
Jordan to introduce innovative digital insurance solutions that make
insurance protection services more accessible, convenient and
flexible for customers.
The statement noted that eligibility for the new service is subject
to several conditions, including that subscribers be between 18 and
55 years of age and possess an active and verified Orange Money
wallet.
It added that the e-wallet service is committed to protecting
customer information and maintaining confidentiality in accordance
with applicable privacy laws as part of its approach to providing
secure and reliable financial solutions and services.
