Amman, Dec. 28 (Petra) — The Anti-Narcotics Department arrested a total of 6 drug traffickers in possession of narcotics in Amman and Ma’an during the past 24 hours, according to a security source.
The Public Security Department (PSD) spokesperson said on Wednesday that the police ambushed two dealers planning to transport 70 hashish blocks by vehicle and arrested them in Ma’an.
In eastern Amman, police raided the hideout of a “dangerous” drug dealer and arrested him for possessing 3.7 kilograms of synthetic cannabis (locally known as Joker), a quantity of crystal meth, and a firearm, added the spokesperson. Moreover, he said three dealers were captured in Amman, from whom 13 hashish blocks and 3,000 narcotic pills were seized.
