Doha, March 29 (QNA) – HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Panama Javier Martinez-Acha.
During the call, the two sides discussed the latest developments in the region, particularly the ongoing military escalation and its serious repercussions for regional and international security and stability, as well as efforts to resolve disputes through peaceful means.
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed the need to halt the unjustified Iranian attacks on Qatar and other countries in the region, warning against the irresponsible targeting of vital infrastructure, particularly water, food, and energy facilities.
His Excellency also underscored the importance of strengthening coordination, intensifying joint efforts, returning to the negotiating table, and prioritizing reason and wisdom to contain the crisis, in a manner that ensures global energy security, freedom of navigation, environmental safety, and the preservation of regional stability.
