Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris reaffirmed his full support for all projects and initiatives undertaken by Sudanese expatriate groups, communities and national organizations abroad. He made the remarks during a meeting in Khartoum on Saturday with Abubakr Shabo, President of the Executive Office of the Sudanese Diaspora Association (SDA).  The Prime Minister renewed the government’s commitment and readiness to cooperate with all national and international organizations and to remove obstacles hindering their efforts to contribute to rebuilding the Sudanese state. He underscored the importance of youth and youth-led projects proposed by the Sudanese Diaspora Association to contribute to the Sudanese national dialogue. Shabo said he briefed the Prime Minister on the activities and events carried out by the Sudanese Diaspora Association (SDA) in cooperation with numerous Sudanese national organizations and entities across Europe, Africa and Asia, noting that the association has expanded significantly, with more than 28 new branches established in recent months. He also briefed the Prime Minister on the outcomes of the SDA’s latest General Assembly, its plans and programs for the next phase, and its cooperation with relevant institutions inside Sudan to coordinate and implement initiatives undertaken abroad in collaboration with various Sudanese entities. In this regard, Shabo noted that, pursuant to the Prime Minister’s directive, the association had previously met with the People’s Friendship Council, the Secretariat for Sudanese Working Abroad, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to strengthen coordination between the gathering and relevant institutions and contribute to rebuilding the state and political, social and cultural life, as well as facilitating the voluntary return of Sudanese citizens from the diaspora. Shabo said youth organizations would play a major role in the Sudanese dialogue, announcing that a Sudanese youth dialogue would be launched from Khartoum State in the coming period, allowing young Sudanese from diverse backgrounds to contribute to reshaping political life and the national dialogue process.He also congratulated the Sudanese Armed Forces on the 72nd anniversary of their Sudanization and on the victories achieved across various fronts, praying for Allah to grant mercy to those killed in the Battle of Dignity, heal the wounded, secure the release of prisoners and return the missing. Shabo called on all Sudanese youth and national organizations abroad to return to Sudan, particularly Khartoum, and contribute to rebuilding political life and reconstructing the Sudanese state.BH/BH
