California, June 17 (Petra) — His Highness Prince Omar bin Faisal,
President of Jordan Esports Federation (JEF), visited the American
Electronic Arts (EA) in California on Wednesday to discuss esports,
game development, and cooperation prospects with the global gaming
company.
During the visit, Prince Omar highlighted Jordan’s digital
infrastructure, as well as the country’s talent and expertise in
video game development, as part of efforts to strengthen links
between global technology leaders and Jordan’s emerging innovation
ecosystem.
Prince Omar also discussed with EA representatives the latest
developments in esports, ways to advance video game development, and
several related issues.
According to a JEF statement, talks covered the future of the gaming
industry, modern technology, and the growing role of interactive
entertainment as a driver of innovation, skills development, and
economic growth.
The visit also supports efforts to promote entrepreneurship in Jordan
and accelerate integration of “advanced” and emerging technologies.
