Doha, October 05 (QNA) – The Qatar Stock Exchange Index closed higher on Monday, up 99.62 points, or 1.08 percent, to 9,285.05.
A total of 169,438,752 shares changed hands during the session, with trading value reaching QR 432,944,217.698 through 27,380 transactions across all sectors.
Shares of 42 companies rose, while those of 8 others fell. Four companies ended unchanged from their previous closing prices.
Market capitalization stood at QR 562,864,065,506.022 at the end of the session, compared with QR 556,985,360,051.536 in the previous session.
It is noteworthy that the stock exchange recorded two transactions in the bond market today, with a combined trading value of QR 1.074 billion. (QNA)
