Doha, March 29 (QNA) – The Qatar Football Association (QFA) participated Sunday in the seventh meeting of the West Asia Football Federation (WAFF) Media and Marketing Committee.
Khalid Mubarak Al Kuwari, Director of QFA’s Marketing and Communications and WAFF Media and Marketing Committee’s Vice President, represented the QFA.
Attended by representatives from the WAFF General Secretariat and Committee’s members, the virtual meeting discussed several agenda items and approved the minutes of the previous meeting held on December 29, 2025.
Committee’s members were briefed on the latest developments related to marketing partnerships with PRO company. Updates concerning sponsors were also discussed, and a number of appropriate recommendations were made.
The meeting also discussed the marketing plan for the WAFF tournaments in 2026-2027 and reviewed the latest developments regarding media relations for the tournaments organized by the Federation, making the necessary decisions.
It is noteworthy that the meetings of the WAFF Media and Marketing Committee are held periodically and on a continuous basis to discuss and implement the federation’s media and marketing plans in accordance with the annual calendar, ensuring the committee fulfills its duties to the highest standard.
