Doha, July 28 (QNA) – The Qatar Gymnastics Federation (QGF) hosted on Tuesday an educational workshop titled “Qudwah Educational Program” in cooperation with the Qatar Anti-Doping Agency (QADA).
The workshop gave a comprehensive overview of key anti-doping topics, these included: the dangers of prohibited substances, athletes’ rights and responsibilities, doping control procedures, the Prohibited List, and the importance of protecting the integrity of sports through clean competition.
Attended by QGF athletes, coaches, and administrative staff, the workshop reflects the Federation’s commitment to enhancing its members’ understanding and awareness alongside their technical development.
The QGF continues to prioritize educating athletes, coaches, and administrative staff on the latest anti-doping regulations and best practices to ensure that they are well prepared to represent the State of Qatar with professionalism and integrity.
At the conclusion of the workshop, participants said that such workshops significantly enhance their knowledge, strengthen their awareness, and reinforce their commitment to the principles of clean sport. (QNA)
