NNA – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Rajji, on Thursday met with Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Bukhari, for talks on the latest developments in Lebanon and the region.
Ambassador Bukhari conveyed ldquo;the Kingdomrsquo;s full support for the reform process in Lebanon, led by President General Joseph Aoun, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, and the government.rdquo;
In turn, Minister Rajji reaffirmed ldquo;the full commitment of the Lebanese government and all its members to implementing the necessary economic, financial, and administrative reforms, and to ensuring that all weapons are placed under the sole authority of the state, in order to set Lebanon on the path to recovery and revival.rdquo;
Rajji expressed his gratitude for the Kingdomrsquo;s support, and for the backing of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.
The foreign minister finally stressed that ldquo;the restoration of bilateral relations has once again placed Lebanon in its rightful place among its Arab brothers.rdquo;
