Amman, June 16 (Petra)– His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Al
Hussein, the Regent, visited the Public Security Directorate (PSD)
and met with Major General Obeidallah Al-Maaytah, Director of the
PSD.

In conjunction with the national team’s 2026 World Cup matches, His
Highness received a briefing on the primary security preparations and
the advancement of security and traffic services.

His Highness conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to all Public Security
personnel for their ongoing security and humanitarian efforts, as
well as their crucial role in upholding security and offering the
greatest services to the public.

Major General Al-Maaytah, for his part, reviewed the directorate’s
preparations, operational plans, and key statistics. He verified that
the various security and traffic units were prepared to perform their
duties effectively and efficiently and highlighted the creation of an
integrated security and traffic plan to go along with the national
team’s World Cup matches.
