Second Archery Championship

Muscat, 6 July 2026 (ONA) — As
many as 203 male and female archers from different governorates of the
Sultanate of Oman took part in the Second Archery Championship which concluded
today.
The championship was organized by
the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth in cooperation with Oman Archery Community
at Al Amal Club.
The championship underlined the growing popularity of the sport in
Oman.
Top winners were felicitated at the closing ceremony,
held under the auspices of Hisham Juma Al Sinani, who Heads the Directorate General
of Sports Care and Development.
The championship showed strong
competition among the contestants and highlighted their outstanding technical skills,
which reflected the advanced level of archery in the Sultanate of Oman.
