Second Round of Indoor Youth Handball League to Kick Off on 14
November

Muscat, 27 Oct 2026 (ONA) — The Competitions Committee of Oman
Handball Association has set 14 November as the start date for the second round
of the Indoor Youth Handball League for the 2026/2027 sports season, with the
participation of four clubs that qualified from the first round.

The first-round results saw two teams from each group qualify.
Muscat Club topped Group One with 10 points, ahead of Nizwa Club, which
finished second with 8 points. Oman Club topped Group Two with a full tally of
10 points, while A’Seeb Club finished second with 8 points.

The second-round fixtures will see Muscat Club face A’Seeb Club,
while Oman Club meets Nizwa Club, to determine the two finalists and the clubs
competing for the league title.

According to the competition regulations, this round will be
played on a two-match basis between each pair of teams. If points and goal
difference are tied, the tie will be decided directly by penalty shootouts without
extra time. The two losing teams will meet to determine third and fourth
places, while the two winners advance to the final to compete for the league
title.
