Khartoum, 29 July 2026 (SUNA) – The Government of Sudan on Wednesday condemned the attacks carried out by Iraqi groups aligned with Iran against the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, describing them as a flagrant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a direct threat to its security and stability. In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Sudan reaffirmed its firm rejection of any aggression that infringes upon the sovereignty of states or threatens their security and territorial integrity. It stressed that such acts undermine regional peace and security, widen tensions across the region, and diminish the prospects for the success of peace initiatives pursued by some regional countries. The Government of Sudan reiterated its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and affirmed its support for all efforts aimed at safeguarding the Kingdom’s security, stability, and sovereignty.BH/BH
