Imola, Italy, July 05 (QNA) – Team Qatar finished second in the LMGT3 category in the third round of the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) at the 4 Hours of Imola endurance race.
The Qatari team, consisting of drivers Abdullah Al Khalifa, Julian Hanses, and Adam Christodoulou, in collaboration with Iron Lynx, delivered a consistent and competitive performance throughout the four-hour endurance race, thanks to strong stability, pace, and precise teamwork, securing a podium finish aboard the Mercedes-AMG LMGT3 No. 62.
This result strengthened Team Qatar’s position in the overall championship standings, allowing it to enter the second half of the season with renewed confidence and positive momentum to continue competing for top positions.
This achievement marks Team Qatar’s first podium finish of the 2026 ELMS season and also reflects the team’s continued development and its ability to compete in one of the world’s most competitive endurance racing championships. (QNA)
