Saudi Arabia’s Voluntary Carbon Market Fuels the Shift to a Low-Carbon
Amman, Oct. 1 (Petra) – The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) will
temporarily close sections of Istiqlal Street over the next two
nights between Istiqlal Hospital and Al-Dakhiliyah Circle to
dismantle pedestrian bridges.
To ensure public safety, full lane closures will be in place for two
days, operating overnight from midnight until 8:00 a.m.
GAM announced the following detours during work hours:
– Traffic from Al-Dakhiliyah Circle: Drivers will turn right onto
Khaled Ben Al-Walid Street, left onto Al-Jalil Street, left onto
Muhammad Hwaimel Al-Zaben Street, and continue toward Al-Urdon Street
(Jordan Street).
– Traffic heading uphill from Raghadan Palace Bridge toward
Al-Dakhiliyah Circle: Drivers will turn right at Al-Zahir Bibars
Bridge toward Jordan Street and Queen Rania Street.
GAM urged drivers to follow traffic police instructions and adhere to
posted warning signs to maintain safety and traffic flow.
