Ter Stegen Joins Ajax on Loan
Amsterdam, 4 Aug 2026 (ONA) — German
goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen, shot-stopper for Spanish club FC Barcelona,
has completed a loan move to Dutch side Ajax Amsterdam for a duration of one
season.
The German custodian began his
professional career with Borussia Mönchengladbach, where he featured in 127
matches across all competitions over the course of three and a half seasons,
prior to his transfer to Barcelona in 2014.
Since joining the Catalan club,
he has made 423 appearances in all tournaments with Barcelona, securing a host
of major trophies, including the UEFA Champions League and seven La Liga
titles.
