Amman, June 22 (Petra) – Police apprehended a female employee at the
Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities on Monday following an
altercation at the minister’s office, according to a security source.
The employee verbally assaulted staff members, entered the minister’s
office in his absence, and then locked herself inside, refusing to
leave until her job-related demands were met.
Security personnel were called to the scene, removed her from the
office and referred her to the administrative governor for legal
action.
