Training program in Aqaba on inventing new dishes

Aqaba, November 13 (Petra) Amin Al-Maaytah – The Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, in partnership with the US Embassy in Amman and the US Department of Agriculture, and organized by the American Meat Exporters Association, launched today, Sunday, a training program entitled “The Basics and Techniques of Cutting American Beef and Creating New Dishes” targeting Workers in Aqaba hotels.

The program comes, according to the head of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, Nayef Bakheet, as part of the tourism authority’s strategy to build the capabilities and skills of the tourism sector and its workers, and to provide high-level tourism services in the city’s restaurants and hotels.

Bakheet, who sponsored the launch of the program, pointed out its importance in raising the efficiency and skill of hotel and restaurant workers in preparing various items that suit the tastes of tourists, thus contributing to the provision of a new and distinct tourism product and service in Aqaba and the Golden Triangle.

For her part, the representative of the American Meat Exporters Association, Lina Kanaan, presented the axes of the training program and the stages of American meat production from the farm to the consumer.

It is noteworthy that the American Meat Exporters Association is a non-profit trade body that works to create jobs and develop international markets for the meat industry, and is headquartered in the US state of Colorado, with offices around the world.
