Two flexible workspace centers open in Amman

Amman, Oct. 5 (Petra) — Thabat Real Estate Co., in cooperation with
Regus, the global provider of flexible workspace, announced on Monday
the opening of two new business centers in Amman’s Sweifieh and
Shmeisani areas.

The Sweifieh center has 62 offices and 200 workstations, while the
Shmeisani center houses 56 offices and 174 workstations that serve
large companies, small and medium-sized enterprises, startups and
entrepreneurs.

The centers allow companies to start operations without major capital
investment in fit-out, furnishing or facilities management. Companies
can expand or reallocate space as their business grows or needs
change.

The opening reflects a commitment by Thabat and Regus to supporting
entrepreneurship in Jordan and boosting their presence in the local
market, commented Thabat Chairman Haethum Buttikhi.

He said several Regus centers will open in different parts of the
Kingdom in the coming period, as part of a plan to expand the
business center network and meet growing demand for flexible,
equipped workspaces.

Kinan Jaradat, CEO of Hayyak, a Thabat Group company, said commercial
real estate is a main pillar of the company’s investment strategy. He
said the two centers add to office space and business services in the
Jordanian market.

Kory Thompson, senior regional vice president for the Middle East and
Africa at International Workplace Group (IWG), which operates Regus,
said Jordan has an attractive investment environment. He said the
openings come amid growing demand for flexible work models and
equipped offices.
