Abu Dhabi, March 28 (QNA) – The UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, discussed the consequences of the Iranian brutal missile attacks on the UAE and several countries in the region.

This came in telephone conversations today with Kenyan President William Samoei Ruto, Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Caretaker Government of Afghanistan Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, and Angolan Foreign Minister Tete Antonio.

The calls examined the perilous consequences of the ongoing developments on the region’s security and stability, as well as their ripple effects on the global economy and energy supply security.

The conversations condemned the Iranian wanton missile attacks, which amount to an outright breach of the principles of international law and the UN Charter, posing a direct threat to the security of nations, their sovereignty, and the region’s stability.

In addition, the callers stressed that countries that came under these attacks are entitled to take essential measures to protect their sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the security of their citizens, residents, and visitors, in accordance with the provisions of international law.

The talks also delved into avenues for strengthening international cooperation and ramping up combined efforts to help deepen security and stability on both the regional and global stages, in addition to backing the region’s stability, along with the responses to their peoples’ aspirations toward achieving comprehensive and sustainable development.
