UK Prime Minister, US President Discuss Efforts to End Conflict with Iran

London, June 13 (QNA) – UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and US President Donald Trump discussed efforts to end the conflict with Iran in a phone on Saturday.

A statement from the UK Prime Minister’s office said that Starmer welcomed the progress made so far and affirmed his country’s readiness to support the implementation of any peace agreement and to work with international partners to ensure its success.

The two leaders also agreed on the need to restore freedom of navigation to mitigate the impact of the conflict on the global economy. (QNA)
