New York, October 12 (QNA) – The United Nations (UN) High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Turk, expressed his deep worry regarding the continuous attacks by the Houthi group during the past days against airports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) that resulted in the death and injury of dozens.
In a statement on Monday, Turk underlined that the attacks against the civilians and infrastructure are banned per the International Humanitarian Law (IHL), emphasizing in this regard the importance of investigating these acts and other violations committed in the region and holding people responsible. He added that the biggest impact will be on civilians.
