Amman, May 13 (Petra) – An unidentified missile landed in Ma’an Governorate, southern Jordan, on Tuesday evening without causing any casualties or property damage, according to a military source from the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army.
The source said the missile fell in a desert area and that its origin remains unknown. Security forces cordoned off the site, and a team from the Royal Engineering Corps was dispatched to handle the missile remnants to ensure public safety.
An investigation has been launched to determine the missile’s source and the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The military source urged the public not to circulate rumors or misleading information that could cause panic and stressed the importance of relying on official sources for accurate news and updates.
