New York, March 16 (Petra) — Major US stock indices showed mixed performance on Monday after a week of repeated declines.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 388 points to 46,946, while the tech-focused Nasdaq gained 268 points to reach 22,374. In contrast, the S&P 500 fell by about 67 points to 6,699.
Meanwhile, US West Texas Intermediate crude oil prices dropped over $5 to settle at $93.22 per barrel.
