Amman, Jan. 21 (Petra) – The Public Security Directorate (PSD) spokesperson provided details of a video that went viral on social media Tuesday, depicting an event in Irbid where a woman and her three daughters were struck by a car.
The PSD spokesperson clarified that the incident occurred on Saturday, but no formal complaint was filed at the time., as an agreement had been reached with the driver to visit the hospital for medical examinations and treatment for the girls.
However, the girls’ family filed a complaint Tuesday with the public prosecutor and police after a dispute arose with the driver concerning the treatment. The girls were taken to the hospital to obtain the necessary medical reports, and the driver has been detained. The case will be referred to the judiciary once all investigations are completed.
