Oil Prices Fall amid Halt in Aid to Ukraine, Tariffs and OPEC+ DecisionBeijing, 4 Mar (ONA) —- Oil prices continued to fall in today after US President Donald Trump paused military aid to Ukraine and as
markets braced for US tariffs on Canada, Mexico and China to take
effect.
Brent futures fell 54 cents, or 0.75%, to $71.08 a barrel, while
US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude fell 36 cents, or 0.53%, to
$68.01.
The tariffs are scheduled to take effect on Tuesday, the Trump
administration confirmed.
The OPEC+ alliance have agreed to “proceed with a gradual and
flexible return of the 2.2 million barrels per day (bpd) voluntary
