China’s Foreign Exchange Reserves Rise to USD 3.23 Trillion

China’s Foreign Exchange Reserves Rise to USD 3.23 TrillionBeijing, 9 Mar (ONA) — China’s total foreign exchange reserves
rose to approximately USD 3.23 trillion at the end of February 2025, an
increase of USD 18.2 billion, or 0.57 percent, compared to the end of
January.

In a statement, the State Administration of Foreign
Exchange (SAFE) said that the US Dollar index declined last month,
while global financial asset prices showed mixed trends, influenced
by macroeconomic policies, data from major economies, as well as
monetary policies, and the expectations of major central banks.

The Administration attributed this increase to several factors,
including currency conversion and changes in asset prices.— Ends/Khalid
