Al Zubair Claims First Place in Gold Cup Category at Eighth Round of GT

Nürburgring,
1 Sep (ONA) — International racer Al-Faisal Khalid Al Zubair, representing
Al-Manar Racing Team, secured a well-deserved victory in the Gold Cup category
at the eighth round of the GT World Challenge Endurance Championship held at
Germany’s Nürburgring circuit. The team continues its strong contention for the
championship title, with one round remaining before the season concludes.
The
victory followed an exhilarating three-hour race featuring 61 cars. Al-Faisal
Al Zubair, alongside his teammates German driver Jens Klingmann and Belgian
driver Ben Tuck, drove the “BMW M4 GT3 Evo” under the technical
supervision of WRT team, reinforcing the team’s second-place standing in both
the team and driver rankings.
The
championship competitions are set to continue at Spain’s Valencia circuit,
which will host the final round of the Sprint Cup during 19-21 September.
