Al Harthy Finishes Fourth in Fuji Round of World Endurance ChampionshipFuji, 29 Sep (ONA) — International driver Ahmad Al Harthy concluded the 7th round of the World Endurance Championship at Japan’s Fuji Speedway in fourth place within the GT3 category, following a grueling 6-hour race.Al Harthy and his team, WRT, competed in the 46 BMW M4. The team started from 11th position and managed to advance progressively towards the leading positions. During his first driving stint, Al Harthy delivered a strong performance, overtaking three competitors in the initial laps to climb to 8th place, before continuing his charge to reach 2nd position in the first quarter of the race.Following Al Harthy, Italian driver Valentino Rossi took the wheel. He faced challenging conditions due to yellow flag periods, which reduced the gaps between the cars and caused the team to slip back in the standings. South African driver Kelvin van der Linde then took over, managing to advance again and move the team back up to 3rd place. However, a final pit stop ultimately returned the team to 4th position, finishing the race a mere four seconds behind the third-place finisher.The team added 12 new points to its tally, jumping to 8th place in the overall standings after being 10th in the previous round.
