Esports Team Qualifies for FIFA Finals in Rocket League Game
Muscat,
11 Dec 2025 (ONA) — The National Esports Team has qualified for the FIFAe World
Cup Finals in the game Rocket League, scheduled to be held in the Saudi
capital, Riyadh, from 15-19 December.
This
qualification is a significant milestone in the development of the Esports
sector in the Sultanate of Oman, reflecting the rapid growth witnessed by this
sector and the support directed towards young national talents to compete at
global levels.
The
team is comprises Sultan Al Balushi, Amjad Al Zadjali and Abdullah Al Amri.
All
three are ranked within the top 0.01 percent of global players in the game. The
team underwent a professional training program supervised by coach Abdullah Al
Atiqi.
The
team’s qualification came after their participation in the official West Asia
regional qualifiers and their victory over the Jordanian National Team in the
decisive match, alongside a series of positive results in local, regional, and
international tournaments. This secured them a spot among the top 16 national
teams globally in the finals.
