Gold Rises, Silver Jumps to Record HighSingapore, 17 Dec 2025 (ONA) — Gold prices edged higher in trading today, while silver surged to a record high, breaking above the $65 mark for the first time. Spot silver climbed 2.8% to $65.63 per ounce, marking its highest level on record. Spot gold rose 0.4% to $4,321.56 per ounce, while US gold futures also gained 0.4% to $4,350.50. Among other precious metals, platinum advanced 2.5% to $1,896.40 per ounce, its highest level in more than 14 years, while palladium settled at $1,602.60 per ounce after touching a two-month high earlier in the session.— Ends/Khalid
