Day of Arab Shooting and Airgun Championship 2025 Begins in Muscat

Muscat,
21 Dec 2025 (ONA) — The first day of competitions for the Arab Shooting and
Airgun Championship (Rifle and Airgun, 10 meters) kicked off today at
the National Olympic Shooting Complex in Muscat. The championship, hosted by
the Sultanate of Oman and represented by the Oman Shooting Association, features
broad participation from national teams across the Arab world in the junior and
senior categories for both men and women.

In
the Junior Girls’ competition, shooter Fatima Al Suwaidi from the United Arab
Emirates secured the first-place position. She was followed by Ritaj Al Yafei
from the State of Qatar in second place, while Yosr bin Ammar from the Republic
of Tunisia finished third.

The
Junior Boys’ category saw Omani shooter Khalid Al Kalbani clinch first place. Abdulrahman
Al Sulaiti from Qatar came in second, and Sultan Saleh Mohammed from the UAE
took third place.

In
the Women’s Individual competition, Nouf Al Dossari from the Kingdom of Bahrain
was crowned with first place. She was followed by Yasmin Tahlak from the UAE in
second place, and Bahraini shooter Marwa Al Omairi took third place.

For
the Men’s Individual competition, Ibrahim Al Ali from the UAE earned the top
spot. Omani shooter Hamad Al Khatri finished in second place, while Khalid Al
Shorshani from Qatar secured the third-place position.

On
the level of Women’s Team competitions, the Kingdom of Bahrain achieved first
place. The State of Kuwait secured second place, and the State of Qatar
finished third.

In
the Men’s Team competitions, the United Arab Emirates won the gold medal. The Kingdom
of Bahrain came in second place, while the Sultanate of Oman finished third.
