Nights International Bowling Championship Details Announced

Muscat,
29 Dec 2025 (ONA) — The Oman Bowling Committee, in partnership with Muscat
Municipality, has announced that it will host the second edition of the Muscat
Nights International Bowling Championship. The event will take place from 8 to
19 January 2026, at the A’Seeb Bowling Center, featuring a selection of top
world-ranked bowlers.

Ayman
Salim Al Jahdhami, Secretary of the Oman Bowling Committee and Chairman of the
Organizing Committee, explained that this new edition is a continuation of the
success achieved during the inaugural tournament, which saw 170 male and female
players from Oman and around the world. He emphasized the committee’s
aspiration for broader international participation and a higher technical level
in the current edition.

He
noted that the tournament has allocated prize money totaling approximately RO
30,000 as part of an effort to attract the world’s leading stars of the game.
The championship will be managed by Omani national cadres under internationally
accredited organizational and technical supervision.

Hussein
Salim Al Rumhi, representative of beach events at Muscat Nights, stated:
“Following the success of the previous international championship, we have
worked on rebuilding our partnership with the Oman Bowling Committee. We expect
a large turnout and even greater success for this edition given the significant
interest and following the game enjoys.” He added that these events
activate the sports sector, and bowling was specifically chosen to highlight
community interaction and attract prominent international players to the
Sultanate of Oman.

Musa
Walid Al Maimani, Tournament Director, confirmed that the competitions will be
held in accordance with approved international systems. The tournament has been
officially certified by both the International and Asian Bowling Federations.
He noted that the Seeb Bowling Center meets accredited international
specifications and will host multiple competitive stages leading up to the
final match.
