21 Jan 2026 (ONA) — Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) main index closed lower
today, dropping 0.948 percent.
The
MSX 30 Index concluded the trading session at 6,187.19 points, registering a decline
of 59.2 points from the previous close of 6,246.39 points.
Total
trading turnover reached RO 32,239,868, reflecting a rise of 31.8 percent
compared to the previous session’s value of RO 24,458,168.
MSX
market report noted that the overall market capitalization went up by 0.326
percent from the last trading day to approximately RO 33.21 billion.
The
trading activity of non-Omani investors saw purchases worth RO 4,259,000,
representing 13.21 percent of the total market activity. Their sales amounted
to RO 5,055,000, accounting for 15.68 percent. This resulted in a net
investment inflow of RO 796,000 from non-Omani investors, marking a drop of 2.47
percent.
